Prep, serve, and clean up lunch on the 2nd Sunday of each month for families who do not have housing. Sharing smiles is an added blessing! Email Tom & Maureen Modl with questions.
Clothing & Hygiene Collection for Veterans
On the third Sunday of every month, Holy Spirit collects seasonal clothing, underwear, toiletries, and shoes for veterans in need. These items are given to Every Third Saturday, an organization near the Veterans Hospital with a coffee shop, counseling services, and items for veterans. Call Tom Colaizy at (651) 260-2164 with questions.

Since 1983, a team of Holy Spirit volunteers has supplied, prepared, and served supper at The Dorothy Day Center in St. Paul on the fourth Thursday of each month. Email Joe Jansen if youâre interested in getting involved.
Habitat for Humanity at the Panel Plant
We will work at the Habitat for Humanity Panel Plant to build framing for the new house construction later in the summer. Work will consist of groups of 3â4 people laying out and building wall frames. This work utilizes people of all skill levels. Most of the hammering will be done with palm hammers (power tools that you hold). These tools are easy and fun to work with. Other tasks include: hammering, screwdriving, measuring and sawing, and untwisting lumber using leverage tools. Work will be inside.
